Dave’s Pumpkin Patch is one of Sacramento’s largest pumpkin patches. Dave’s Pumpkin Patch has a 2-acre pumpkin field with a wide selection of gourds and pumpkins. You may easily pick your pumpkins from the field. You are free to do so in whatever way you see fit. In addition, you can also opt to select a gourd that has already been harvested.

Activities and Attractions

There are several entertainment options for both adults and children. Jumping pillows, hay rides, tractor train rides, corn maze, child hay maze, animal and pig races, pony rides, princess shows, and other activities are available at the farm.

Bishop’s Pumpkin Farms, Wheatland

Bishop’s is a great spot to visit, especially if you’re up for a short road trip that turns into a day at the farm. Did you know for a fact that the founders, Bill and Sandy Bishop, planted their first pumpkins on their Wheatland farm in 1973? It is now regarded as one of the world’s largest U-Pick pumpkin farms.

Activities and Attractions

No farm is complete without amusement. One of the best attractions of Bishop’s Farms is the BPF line. The BPF Line is an eight-car 24-inch gauge railroad. A kid journeys through the entire farm with it. Other enjoyable activities include the Charlie Carousel, a corn maze, a coyote mountain mine, a sunflower labyrinth, a zipline, and many others.

On the bishop’s farm, you will find Mrs. B’s Bakery. The bakery sells pies, cakes, dumplings, and other baked goods. You can also get barbecue, cotton candy, popcorn, chocolate chip cookies, apple cider, homemade fudge, and hundreds of more foods and beverages.

The fog willow farm is not like other pumpkin patches. It provides visitors with a wholesome, authentic fall experience. Fog Willow is a welcoming, safe, and entertaining farm where you may celebrate everything agricultural.

Activities and Attractions

Do you wish to take your children to the zoo to familiarize them with animals, particularly farm animals? You don’t have to go anywhere because there is a wonderful petting zoo on fog willow farm with over 50 farm animals. The farm also offers Pumpkins Galore, Unlimited Hayrides, an Adventure Course, a Climbing HayStack, and The Big Dig – Family Mining. Pony rides and a bunny village are available.

Bobby Dazzler’s Pumpkin Patch, Woodland

The most intriguing aspect of Bobby Dazzler’s Pumpkin Patch is that they grow all of their pumpkins. The pumpkins are hand-picked and trucked in from nearby fields. Furthermore, they have been in business for almost 40 years and claim to offer the largest selection of pumpkins in the area.

Activities and Attractions

Do your kids enjoy mazes? Mazes are fun. They represent the pinnacle of design and complexity. Milo’s maze is the first important attraction on Bobby Dazzler’s Pumpkin Patch. The Milo Maze is around five feet tall and has two acres in area. Other attractions and activities include a petting zoo, face painting, a cow train, a play zone, a corn bath, a bouncy house, a hay maze, and many more.

On weekdays and weekends, the farm serves a variety of foods. On weekdays, common snacks and beverages such as chips, cookies, crackers, jerky, sweets, and so on are available. On weekends, though, the farm makes special arrangements. On weekends There is an Ice Cream Truck, SnoShack, Kettle Corn, BBQ, and related foods from Steve’s Grill and Sweet Treats.

Cool Patch Pumpkins, Dixon

Cool Patch Pumpkins has been in business for 22 years. The farm’s founder, Matt Cooley, established it in the year 2001. With its 63-acre world record-holding maze, the farm claims to have the largest corn maze near Sacramento.

The corn maze is a popular attraction at Cool Patch Pumpkins. The maze is new each year, so you won’t be able to do it the next year. Other activities and attractions include a mini hay maze, hay ride, corn bath, and photo op.

Food is only available on Friday nights and weekends at the patch. You can order Tri-Tip Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Fries, Soft Serve, and more items. 

The shop also has a coffee cart that is open on Fridays and weekends.
