Having spent two decades leading sales, marketing and business consulting efforts for high-profile corporations in the tech and CPG industries, in 2006 Mark decided it was time to pivot.
He felt compelled to build closer and more meaningful connections with people through his work. He did so immediately, in the process creating a residential real estate presence that has spanned a variety of economic cycles.
“Relationships with people are everything,” says Mark. “Real estate is about working directly with people, getting to know them, understanding their needs, and positively impacting their future.”
Mark has been surrounded by the real estate industry his entire life, having grown up the son of two real estate professionals. He even minored in real estate studies while earning his degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.
“I’ve always loved real estate,” says Mark, whose clients describe him as trustworthy and caring.
Mark upholds the philosophy that each client’s needs are not only unique but of the utmost importance and priority in the relationship. People who work with him enjoy his consistent, open communication and his straightforward approach to real estate.
“Whether I’m working with buyers, sellers or investors, my goal is to educate and help people navigate the complexities of real estate,” he says. “They know that I’m focused on what’s best for them.”
Not surprisingly, many of Mark’s buyers, sellers and real industry counterparts have become his lifelong friends.
In 2022, Mark joined the eXp El Dorado Hills brokerage led by Gail DeMarco, Val Turner and Jay Friedman. As a broker, Mark is building his own team of service-minded agents.
A longtime resident of the Greater Sacramento area, Mark and his wife raised their two children in the Folsom area, enjoying terrific schools, community amenities and quality of life.
“I believe in giving back to the community,” says Mark, an active member of the Folsom Rotary Club who stays involved in supporting local schools and other causes.
Mark and his wife now reside in Gold River and take full advantage of all that the tri-county area offers. Mark is also well known for coaching the Varsity rugby team at Jesuit High School, where his passion and leadership inspire the athletes.
In his personal time, Mark enjoys golf and pickleball as well as wine tasting excursions with his wife, family and friends. He can be found at many of the area’s terrific golf courses including Empire Ranch, Ancil Hoffman, Granite Bay, Serrano, Northridge, and more.
And as if rugby, golf and real estate aren’t enough sports for one person, Mark is also an active member of Folsom Pickleball Club.
